I have built a set of TABAQs with 4" TB drivers and love them. I was thinking about making something simlar for another room using 3" TB drivers but the tall thin shape isn't ideal for the setup.
My question is this; can I take the TABAQ design and fold it to make speakers more "bookshelf speaker" shaped? Also what would the effect of moving the driver's location to lower in the TL be (closer to the port)? |

Hi Boomie MCT
If you fold the line, keeping the cross section and the length of the line it should work fine. By moving the speaker, you will get problems with the frequency response. Hi from Bjorn |

Hmmmm. I sketched this up and it was still 19" tall - too tall for the use I was planning on. Back to the drawing board . . .
