Question Anyone using the new Hempton 5" FR Driver?

I saw this on the A Brown Website. http://www.abrown.com/home.htm It's their new 5" FR driver and was wondering if anyone has tried them out?

The Hemp Tone driver was tested in a IEC 60268-5 Type A enclosure. Does anyone know what that enclosure looks like? I'm just not curious enough to spend 170 CHF (145USD) to buy the spec.

Bob,

I think the measurements are from an IB setup. The tested in IEC box part is about the 50-17K claim IMHO.

I am inclined to agree with you. The roll-off certainly looks IB.

Interesting! I haven't been involved with IEC since '94, but back then 268-5 type A defined the IEC standard baffle and JIS C5531 was for IB at a hefty 648 L/22.8839 ft^3. I wonder if they've been merged into a single cab.............
