giant spiral horn
Hello all!
I have an idea for a horn of a different kind: A one meter high spiral horn (like a giant floorstand Cornu) made of bending plywood or bending MDF, the driver on top (radial) and a mouth area of at least one squaremeter. But there is one thing I am not sure about. A one meter long throat chamber with a slot-shaped horn throat starting from the side of the chamber is not a usual design for a horn. What about the standing waves in the throat chamber? Can my plan work? |
