Default Small vented TB W4-656 speakers

I recently ventured into the world of full-range speakers. I've always wanted to build a big horn full range but figured I'd start small using the Tangband W4-656. These enclosures are slightly undersized (so they would fit into a spot in my living room) but I'm quite happy with them.

I'm very sensitive to high frequencies so I don't mind them missing a chunk of the top octave. F3 down low is at about 65 Hz.

One thing I was curious about is if I used these in a rear loaded horn cabinet what kind of F3 could I expect? I have no experience with horns and I'd like to change that!

Cute. It sort of looks like the speakers I modded from a desktop
mini system from Nakamichi as my first project.

Most of the talk for Tangband here of late has been in the
TABAQ thread. Thats a Mass Loaded Transmission Line design
not backhorn.

I have a pair of the Tangbands-- W 871s and have been trying to
get a listenable build out of them for a while now. I don't think they are worth much more than using up scraps on, though Zaph and others would disagree.

If you are looking for a small footprint build the TABAQ is a good choice.
And you can make it from scraps.
