I have the cabinet plans for the Impulse H6 speakers. Impulse is no longer on the marked, but they made some fantastic hornconstrutions. I'm now planning to build the H6. The problem is to find a replament driver. The original driver is SEAS CA17RCY, this driver is no longer possible to get, as far as I know.
I wonder, will SEAS CB17RCY/P be a good replacement. Thank you Håvard |

Hi Håvard!
We built the H6 with the Vifa C17WG69-08. It works very well! Have you got any info about the H2??? Greets: Tyimo |

Thanks a lot for the info.
Have not get any information about the H2. Planning to do some cabinetwork this summer. Have had a pair of speakers with the Seas CB17 unit, and this is a very fine loudspeaker. Håvard |

I measured my old pair ( - with all the errors that risks!) for Håvard who asked for confirmation of a principle.
I will not be posting the sketch generally because the design (however simple) is not my property. |
