Hello,
I have put the Fostex FX120 out of the box in my prototype: ![]() Crossover is around 300 hz. (The FX120 is open baffle and rolls of arround 300 hz). I notice that the range > 3 khz has a lower volume than < 3 khz. Is this normal? Does it change when they are "burned" in during the first 100 hours? Do you have suggestions for the FX120 (filters, configurations etc.)? Regards, Jeroen |

Nice speaker
It has been stated before that FX120 is a "polite" wideband, allthough too much for some its a good quality my book I have never heard the FX120, but have always thought it would need a supertweeter |

Just measured them again and they are improving!! (20 hours of play to this moment). There is still a 3db dip at 4 khz, but >6khz has improved considerably. Lets see what happens after the 100 hours of burning in.......
