Yes, what happened?

I thought it was a problem with my computer but obviously it wasn't only myself who couldn't access DiyAudio....

Apparently the server and/or the database couldn’t hold the traffic and huge load.
Looks like the people in the Control Room could bring things back to life.
It’s great to see this beloved forum on line again.

It was a frustrating day-and-a-half, but on the bright side, it was one less distraction keeping me from getting my projects done....

Anyway, AudioFreak apparently did the ritual of the laying on of hands and everything seems to work beautifully now. Our apologies for the outage.

Default Time to donate?

Man, i was scared diyAudio was gone and not going to come back...
That would be a such a loss, all of that knowledge gone...

Guess its time to donate!

(btw, why not make redirect to the donation page when there is downtime? It probably wouldn't help the immediate situation, but the donations would probably start pouring in

/Andreas

Withdrawals!

After that groaner of a pun about Nelson Pass' middle name, I figured he had me permanently binned.

Anyway, I kept refreshing while getting the shakes, hoping that it really was just the database having a problem.

But any resident conspiracy theorists would say that the forum going down was a ploy to get more donations

Withdrawl symptoms..... maybe we shouldn't be posting round here so much...
