I'd like to request that a login feature be added to thread pages.
(button or place to type in the requiste data) As it stands now, if you happen to be browsing, and you don't use the "permanent' cookie feature to be logged in all the time (I never do - anywhere) then you have to go all the way back to the diyaudio.com home page, log in, and then go back down the tree to where you wanted to just post a reply... I know other forums manage to put this feature in... also, it isn't that obvious that you are or are not logged in, once you're on... some indication that you're logged in would be nice... color change, or a greeting up top are the usual means... Regards, _-_-bear

Maybe just tell your browser to allow DiyAudio cookies.
They are really nice you know. You could also put your request here: http://www.diyaudio.com/request/ /Hugo |

Ok - please everyone go vote now!!
http://www.diyaudio.com/request/ I'm not sure that "voting" is a particularly good way to gauge the benefits of certain things, like this one. To gauge the interest in a new forum topic, sure. As far as cookies go - afaik they are enabled. I sure as heck can't stop ebay from finding me logged in each time... so cookies are working. This is worthless Explorer 5.x , so there is no basis for thinking or knowing what it is actually going to do at any given time... are they chocolate chip, or Macadamia nut?? _-_-bear
