Reply emails

I am trying to turn off getting an email every time there is a reply in a thread I have posted to. I have changed the user control panel but it won't stop. Help me please.

Well, to prevent it in the future, unclick the "email notification" box at the bottom of the reply page. If you've reset things in the control panel to default to that box unhecked, it will only affect future posts/threads. As for ones already done... I'll bang around the back room a bit and see if I can blunder into a way of fixing that for you.

I don't see an easy way, but maybe one of the smarter bb software guys will see this and tell me what to do. In the meantime, I manually knocked you off email notifications for the last half dozen or so threads you've posted in. And I verified that "no notification" is your default.

I just use the "unsubscribe" link in the notification email and I never get one for that thread again.

The easy way would be for kilowattski to go into his userCP here then click the link to 'view all subscribed threads' then click the link 'unsubscribe from all threads'.
