Posting problems.

I seem to be having posting problems. I posted a message about the inability to access the Archive after the server change a few minutes ago.
Is this intentional or is it a problem.

I think this is a great forum as it is ( was?) . Please don't change things. You can have a pop up asking for donations to meet expenses . When the donations have met the year's requirement , cut out the pop up till the next financial year. This will remain the best forum around. Content driven and not any other way.

OK..... I checked again. The Archive is back ! Great.

Now do consider a small pop up at the bottom of the screen asking for donations with a bar meter showing how much of the
expenses are covered at that moment. Well ?

Try to keep all expenses covered by donations and not by any commercial means. This will be THE greatest Audio Forum !

Hello. Can you detail your posting problems?

I have replied to your earlier email about the archive being unavailable. It was due to an .htaccess file missing on the new server. Fixed now.

The site will be sticking around for a while yet You can thank the many fantastic and generous individuals and companies who have contributed for that.

Hi Jason,
I posted a message several minutes ago . It then showed up the posted message after 'submit' as usual. But when I went to the home page the message was not there.

This has happened twice long ago and I couldn't understand because posts made after that worked normally.

Like my next post about the Archive worked normally.
I put it down to some computer glitch !

Ok, thanks. It might have been some kind of cache / dns glitch. Give it 24 hours and a computer reboot and it should be right ;)
