As some of you might be aware some very serious bugs have been revealed in almost every major computing platform (including the computer or phone you're reading this message on), which have been given the name “Meltdown” and “Spectre”.

Our hosts liquidweb are very busy in the process of patching and rebooting every server they host to mitigate the potential problems these bugs could cause. Unfortunately, it seems that on our system it caused a crash or failure on reboot. I have been on the phone with them the last hour and we have resolved the issue at this time.

I am going to now reboot the whole server again manually, and make sure that it comes back up AOK. Hold on to your soldering irons...

EDIT: Found a glitch on reboot, have fixed it and confirmed server now restarts on its own without any manual intervention. We should be good to go.
