Default Where did the "Friend" option go under contacts in User CP?

Where did the "Friend" option go under contacts in User CP?
Also seems to be missing everywhere else.
The FAQ does not compare at all to reality anymore.

...Or is it just impossible for me to get friends?

It should be under Networking->Contacts and Friends in your User CP.

I know.
It's not there.

Edit:
Didn't there use to be a Friend request function?
... Does the contact listing have to be mutual first?

Just click your profile name at the top right of the page. All seems to be there on mine.

Yes, but how to add another?
I can not see the option. The check box is only there on existing ones. There seems to be no option to request it when clicking on another user name also, like there used to be before.

It's possible it was part of the blog extension, which is now disabled. I don't think we've turned anything else off. Hmm.

Yes, it seems to be missing.

It's not a big deal really, just wanted to report it, checking things out.
Was sort of joking about the "not being able to make friends" part, but it would be nice to have the option to do so :-)

No.
The button is not there (I've looked, repeatedly!).

Some text about it is also lacking when comparing to the picture you posted.

Edit:
Maybe I'm the one person on the forum with this problem :-D

That is odd.

The only thing in all the user options (at least that I can find) is this. Worth checking you have it ticked.
