Default Site locks up Firefox

Firefox locks up if I visit this site - and their wonderful design choice to reopen all pages after a crash meant that it would just lock up again when reopened.... that behavior is gone in version 26, though it still locks up. Any ideas short of switching to Chrome?

Been using FF26 on an old mac pro (10.7.5) NO problems now, but horrific at first. Do update all plug-ins needed by FF.....preferably from the software houses involved.

I'm on Firefox right now and no problems at all. Logged in or not, very fast, no hang ups.

FF version 25.0.1

Dunno, Pano. It may be a Firefox problem; but if so, it's something unique to this site, other sites work normally.

No problems here either with 26.0 on windows, 25.01 on linux, and version unknown (currently) on Android.

Appears to have been an add-on I didn't know about - Avast Online Security. Probably came with last update of Virus software. Only crashed this site (as far as I know), though it may have been slowing others...

Anyway, now disabled. Fixed!

Thanks, that was my problem, too. I didn't realize it was there, either.
