chaps is it just me or are links to posts not working so good anymore ? The f6 thread has a post that refers (via link) to an earlier post. But clicking it just takes me to the top of the current page and not to the intended post. Click here and try: F6 Amplifier

ok so if i click on the above link it takes me (correctly) to post #4865 in that thread. Click on the link in that post however and it does not take you to the intended destination ... the intended destination being #4353 or 3516349 seq... odd and i have noticed this quite a lot recently.

Tried using IE instead of my default firefox - you are absolutely right. With IE it works fine (never thought Id ever be able to say that!) I just got so used to FF working flwessly so didnt think to try. Thanks for the help!
