Are any posts missing? Or are you just being taken to an older post (using the anchor named # tag)?
Could it be related to the change we made to correct this issue back in November - Unread threads display as read ? BTW we don't really use IIS

I don't know which server do you use, but what accepts initial requests calls itself Microsoft IIS/6.0
