I always seem to get caught out posting and the message "server performing routine maintenance" page appears (UK time usually around 8am ish).
On long replies I've learnt to copy the message first Happened today and a new (new to me anyway) message appeared on the maintenance page saying my posting had been saved and would be resubmitted in 60 seconds when the server comes back online... and it worked Is that new ?

Thanks Dave.
First time I've ever seen it too... all the electrons must have been in exactly the right place at the right time

I get to work at 0800 and with my first cup of coffee always log-on to DIYAUDIO, I get caught every morning.

Thanks for the info Jason
Its a great feature actually, there's nothing more annoying than losing a detailed reply.

The Forum just lost my PM due to nightly maintenance. So much for our newly noticed old feature!
