Can't edit my WIKI's because the forum software treats them as a post.
I.e. When I want to edit them it says that I can't because I started it 30 minutes ago. |

Hi Jason,
Found out more. It's actually just when you want to add an attachement. Kind regards, Bas |

did we ever get anywhere with this? I am trying to add an attachment to an older wiki so that it's housed here and not on photobucket (so that it's still around when photobucket stops hosting it)

PS - Mods, can you please retitle this thread to 'Can't add attachments to wiki articles after 30 mins' ?

Note: I'm trying to update the Krell KSA-50 project with attachments that Jan emailed to me but can't (the ones linked in the wiki are dead links; they're no longer on his site) . I could create a new thread somewhere and just house them there, but that's a hack.
As an aside: I'll need to put about 10 attachments (schmatics, graphs and gerber files) onto the page, so if there's an attachment limit, that's going to cause me grief too. |

Hi Jason,
Yeah, this one doesn't seem to be fixed in this version. I suspect that "they" want us to do attachments in a different way. I've looked at the code that is behind the attachment system and, unfortunately, there are no hooks that a plugin developer can take advantage of in order to fix this one. So fixing this basically requires an edit to the vB source.

Looks, like I lied, there's a very easy fix to it.
Can't add attachments to Articles - VaultWiki - Wiki for vBulletin Forums - Support I'm waiting to see if his code gets put into the 3.0.3 patch to avoid needing a repatch in the future. |
