Default "Official circuit under discussion" version control for threads

A not-fully-thought-out idea for you... version control for circuits /designs per thread

On long threads where a circuit undergoes numerous revisions, it can be hard to keep track of what the latest "official" version is. How about each thread maintaining a single link, editable by the thread starter, to the latest version? Or could even keep a revision history?

The owner could relinquish control to another user if desired, but only one users (+moderators) have edit rights at any time.

cheers
