I don't know if it has been mentioned as having been removed but I can not use the option &perpage=XX it seems.
Any ideas?

You are right. This doesn't work. I can only change the default value at the first page. I can't change anything in the USER CP.

This has indeed been covered before. You can change the value thru your user cp to one of the predefined values. However, you cannot change the value in the url to get the same effect. This was done by the company that writes the bulletin board software to avoid having excessively server intensive scripts when the number of posts on the page is too high.
