I've noticed that in this particular forum, I get logged-out automaticall after a very short period of time. If I simply read two or three threads, I'm logged out. I don't have this issue with any other forum I visit. Is it something in my "settings", or does everyone experience this?
Sometimes, I get logged out just while composing a post. |

That is annoying and not what I experience.
What browser are you using? |

click on the "User CP" button on the top right of the screen.
select "Edit Options" make sure invisible mode is off, automatically log in is on and use cookies is on. You may need to enable cookies on your browser. see if that helps |

The "which browser" question may have been it. I was using Opera. I'm using IE now, and the problem seems to have dissappeared.
One of the few times IE seems to work better than Opera.

Ooops . . . spoke too soon. IE just did it too. Logged me out just in the time it took to read one thread.

Again, make sure you have the settings right, as Iain explained.
