If you get this please contact me via email at vrhea@nc.rr.com about the problem with the rectifier you found and fixed on the Nak BX-100. I have a BX-100 that is showing the exact same troubles as you described in your post, but I can not figure out how best to remove and replace the recitifier to see if that is the problem.
