I just noticed this problem a few weeks ago or so. Characters such as the apostrophe, quotation marks, and non-English characters show up in Firefox (in my case 3.0.4) as a diamond with a question mark inside. The strange thing is, it isn't consistent. I've seen a poster whose name contains non-English characters sometimes show up correctly, and sometimes with the question mark diamond.
In my character encoding, I have Western ISO-8859-1. I've attached a sample pic. |
