For the price, I really like my Panasonic XR55 receiver. It has a lot of features and sounds pretty good.
I was excited to read about it's bi-amp feature until I found out what it really was. It just duplicates the stereo inputs to two pairs of amplifier channels.
What I'd really like it to do is channel the subwoofer output (but in stereo) through a pair of amplifier channels. Then I would have an active electronic crossover and 4 amplifier channels for bi-amping in one neat, inexpensive package.
Are there any receivers out there that do this?
