New A/B-ing Technique
I believe this is interesting.

If the mention of ABX testing causes you to become emotionally
distressed, please, read no further.

If you would like to look into a free new software tool for
objectively investigating possible audible differences then - read on.

The following link takes you to an introduction to this software by
the editor of The Audio Critic magazine.

You remaining subjectivists had best leave now ;-)

Hey, that's great! And democratic. It eliminates the experienced listener as the only weak link of ABX.

Now i can delegate all those tiresome, mind-numbing cap auditions to my maid.

But i thought the null-tests went out of fashion while Hafler was young.

This method had been applied to other applications before, and the alignment process was never perfect due to recording clock jitter etc. Additionally if the difference is significant enough, you really can't find the exact point to align.
