Retail source for xformer enamel?

I bought a whole bunch of low voltage power transformers at a good price, but the odd one just hums like mad. Is there something I can pick up at the home store to just pour onto the windings? Is regular enamel OK to use?

Hi,

You'd need a vacuum tank for success.

I use clear, 50 cent nail polish on laminations OK
