Default Congrats on 1kilo posts

Oh halojoy,
to 1k you have aspired
and now you are there

Some may find
that so many Gromanistic posts
to them
they find not to their liking
but i have found
that your minstrel ways
have added a colour
and a life here
that helps to make it the special place it is

You make us think
and re-examine our ways

And every-once-in-awhile
you spin it up
by letting us glimse
that indeed you do have
some technical meat on your bones

So hooray, one kilopost
(and we talk not fences)

To halojoy
Live long & prosper

dave
(the occasionally Gromanized)

Smile planet10 and Elso Kwak - thanks

planet10 and Elso Kwak - thanks

I know that you are amongst them
who have seen that I have several sides.
And you belong to them I, for the time being, consider as friends.

I have not only a joking or a bad side -
I can be very serious and sometimes even "good".
In that way I am like folks are most.
Maybe I differ in that way that I does not hide
those questionable things so well as some others do.

Some just "show off" their skills and best opinions,
to get recognition for that. And maybe feel liked or "loved".

To be able to show who you are, good and bad,
and still not be rejected, still be considered as a friend,
that is to me a much more valuable thing.
---------------------------------------------

I do not feel comfortable with either birthday greetings
or "Christmas-kindness" or this 1000 posts celebration.
Still I can not keep from feeling a bit flattered.
----------------

But it is the everyday kindness and respect
I find the most comfort in.

And that is what we should give the more of to everybody.

"Give! and unto you shallth be given"
"Take away! and from you will be taken away"
------------------------------------------------------

halojoy - will try to be amongst those giving
- there is more joy in "to give" - than it is in "to get"

980 empty posts and 20 with content. Big deal.

You are underestimating Halojoy. There were at least 50 of the 1000 with some insightful content in them.

Heck, as far as I'm concerned, a post is a post. Halojoy still had to do all the clicking involved in "creating" each post!

CONGRATS! HALOJOY
