for $315 when you can purchase an GenRad, Hewlett Packard, Eico, Kepco or Lambda high voltage supply for $15.
I was staggered when one of these IP-17's actually sold for $315 last week on EBay. I bought several of these for $20 only a couple years ago. |

Wanna bet that there's a fashion rumor that this particular supply is perfect for running you preamp as long as you have the Mahacana 12BI5s, the NOS ones with the Q getter and dark gray plates, codes "177-85" to "488-62" at a similar nosebleed price? Sounds MUCH better than those awful Eico supplies.
Did this sale go to East Asia?
