I'll bring some CDs, really gutted I can't bring my cd player! It's the one "high-end" piece of kit I own.

That's a pity Simon. You could bring your preamp to run against the Lightspeed passive I'm bringing. I'll also have the Twisted Pear Myref power amp and a couple of mains cables (that make a difference ).

Don't expect fancy cases though.....in fact don't expect any cases

I'm off to get some new tyres for the motorbike so that I can ride up on brand spanking new grippy tyres. By the time I get there they might be run in...

My pre is barely worth bringing, it's just op-amps. It does use nice voltage regs though, and sounds decent. If you'd like me to I'll happily bring it along.

In DIY there is no such thing as "....barely worth bringing....." !
Everything is game and exciting to look at and listen to.
You will know where it stands on a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 will be the best sound at the meet.
Then you can go back and work hard to get up to 10 if you want to and also have the time .

Have fun guys. We await the pictures and listening test results.
Cheers.
Ashok.

Ok then. I'll happily bring anything in my signature if anyone wants to hear it. I also have Marantz MA-500 monoblocks @ 125wpc/8ohms. They're not modded yet though!

Looking forward to the weekend!

Okay guys, I'm back in touch and on a real connection at home. Catching up as we speak and swapping appropriate stuff over to this computer.

Stay tuned!

Me is definitely out of the gathering.
Mrs Wacko has had major surgery a week and a half ago, can't leave her alone in the shack with 4 Oh-Man Damiens for the weekend.
Wishes for 2 glorious barfing days.

Al-Pi,
i've got some of the big fossil Toshibas numbers gift wrapped for you, already sent you an email for directions.
Get in touch if you still desire a couple for your SlimAslime.
