Hi guys, at the moment I'm waiting on Pinkmouse and Shinobiwan to return from their hols to get that info. I'm not sure when they're back exactly, but watch this space for further info. And I would probably wait until they're back before you book any accomodation.

The date and venue are confirmed AFAIK. The entrance fee we briefly discussed was £7.50. I think Pinkmouse will be handling finances, so again, we'll wait till he's back and I'll then add the functionality to confirm bookings and take money to the website.

Ok, an update finally...

The entrance fee will be a £5. Proceeds will go to the charity running the venue provided to us, and some for 'bits and bobs' that might be needed on the day I guess.

The venue is confirmed, for both days, and I'm going to start taking funds to confirm attendance. I'll make a little web-form for people to fill out and take paypal payments.

We're going to scale back from our initial plans a bit and make this first event a very informal, simple and comfy affair to keep the organising to a minimum.

Great!

I am now 90% likely to be there; for reasons too tedious to explain here our horse which was due to compete that weekend is otherwise engaged, so I have no distraction.

Just have to get something finished up to a state suitable to show in public!

I'm swamped with work and other stuff at the moment so no time for a pretty webpage to take payments unfortunately.

Please make payments to Paypal account vikash@purplecoral.com
£5.00 per person (for both days).

Important!
When making payment, make sure you provide:
- your name
- email address
- number of people attending
- whether you're attending on the saturday, or sunday or both days.

Saturday will be a full day, and Sunday half day.

If anyone has any tips on the best way to get to Chesterfield internationally let me know :) I can get a decent price (Singapore) to Gatwick (Emirates) but would appreciate any local knowledge of the best local airport to get a domestic flight to (East Midlands?) that can provide semi-affordable transport (bus/train?) to Chesterfield... Cheers! :)

East Midlands or Sheffield airport if you are really lucky. Then jump on the train to Chesterfield. Taxi or maybe a generous person will collect you from the station, it's no more than 10 minutes away.

Hi

You could also try Emirates to Manchester

Here is the train information.

Andy

EDIT
Gatwick is not the easiest airport to travel from!!!!!
Go to Manchester - it's already in God's country.!
