Hi, i am looking at some basic info about OP AMP external protections, ideal power supply requirements, active protections,...
I know this info can be found on the internet, but id like to hear what you have personnaly. Explication: i have this machine that analyses vibrations (IRD350) , it uses several op amps (LM741, 80's machine), and i dont see any kind of protections, proper supply filtering or dc compensation. Id like to improve it a bit, as it frys some time randomly the 741's. The schematic is a bit minimalistic. Any suggestions is welcome !! Pat Allen

Download and read Op Amp Applications by Walt Jung from the Analog Designs website. All the info you will ever need.
