Dear All,
I'm not really sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes. I am building a microphone based on an electret capsule which does not have a built in fet impedance converter. I have looked for a supplier of a suitable part in the UK, but have as yet found no one who stocks one. I have been basing my search on the NEC 2SK1109 which is designed for this application, but any JFET suitable for this purpose would be acceptable.
can anyone help?
Thanks
James

Hi James,
First, welcome to the forums.
I think 2sk30 from Toshiba is a good candidate for an impedance converter. I think I saw them being used in some condenser microphone designs like this one
