Dear All,
I'm not really sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes. I am building a microphone based on an electret capsule which does not have a built in fet impedance converter. I have looked for a supplier of a suitable part in the UK, but have as yet found no one who stocks one. I have been basing my search on the NEC 2SK1109 which is designed for this application, but any JFET suitable for this purpose would be acceptable. can anyone help? Thanks James |

Hi James,
First, welcome to the forums. I think 2sk30 from Toshiba is a good candidate for an impedance converter. I think I saw them being used in some condenser microphone designs like this one http://www.akg.com/mediadatabase/psf...89ac4d79f7.pdf Regards, Milan |
