Inaudiable audio frequency for disrupting mics in video cameras?

Hi

I imagine a powerful 18KHz source could do the trick: it could saturate the input stage, or at least fool the ALC into believing there is an enormous sound level. How "indecipherable" the result would be is anyone's guess. The best solution is to test it, it isn't complicated: you just need an audio amplifier, a cheap piezo tweeter and a signal source (ie a PC sound card).
A drawback (or maybe an advantage) of this method is that it would annoy young children and teenagers.
