car head-unit to run home power amplifiers

i was trying to solve my issue of not having a source controller for my power amps, and was wondering why i could not use a car head unit with AUX input and 2 x output?

that way, i can control volume and have a bit of EQ as well as an intergrated CD/tuner - with an IR remote...

do higher end car audio devices provide a clean enough signal to run power amps?

anyone tried this?

Yes you can, yes it will.
You'll probably find most car tuners offer far superior tuner performance than a seperate.

Freind used a car head unit while I repaired his preamp.
