My site is ready for other people to start joining the "newsposting" section on my site. Anyone interested? I am also working on the news "Comments" section as well.
Any takers? (PS: I will soon be able to have uploads on my site! |

Congrats on your site. One word of advice though...... Grey lettering on a white background is a HUGE no no.

It' grey on grey here. My eyes force me to disallow a white background as default
Looks nice so far though |

Oops...I think that there is another issue as well... do any of you get a problem like this?
There are some strange black lines appearing in some places! I'll have to try to fix this...this problem applies to Mac OS X Firefox users who have this in their "About Firefox": Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061025 Firefox/1.5.0.8 If you use Mac OS X Safari, there are absolutely no problems. I have no information on Mac OS X Microsoft Internet Explorer. At least it is an obsolete web browser for the Mac these days after all .

It might be the Internet Explorer CSS issue.
Micorsofft (IE) does not bother to conform to the accepted World Web standard of CSS. While other browsers like: Opera, Mozilla, Firefox etc etc follows the correct recommended standard. Probably your pages are using the Micorsofft standard (IE6 and IE7) this is why it wont display correctly in Good Browsers! This issue can be the CSS padding thing. Could possibly cause such extra effects, when using CSS BOXES. But I am not 100% sure. I'm pretty sure thats not the problem. I think the problem has something to do with the fact that some of my tables' cells have no images, but have "bgimage" tags inside the "td". I think i just need to give my tables' their appropriate widths and heights.

The problem was that the IFRAME for the news had a "Frame Border" and was messing it all up! I will fix all of it very soon!
Edit: Fixed |
