There are tons of different DeoxIT products, which ones are the most useful?
Possible uses : -Cleaning old potentiometers, -Cleaning cigarette smoke in old equipment, -Cleaning front plates, -Removing oxydation, -Protection against oxydation. Should DeoxIT alone work? What about Progold, Progold GxL, etc. ? it seems you should put some after DeoxIT, so what's the big difference with DeoxIT shield, etc.

I use CAIG DEOX-IT 100 for cleaning pots.switches and any electrical contact surface for removing and inhibiting corrosion/oxidation. Windex works wonders on front plates and plastics. Smoke, dust and pet hair-compressed air and electrosol electronic parts cleaner. Use deox-it sparingly it is rather costly and a little goes along ways Dave

A little does go a long way...
If you get the stuff in the spraycan,be careful! The first time I used it I ended up having to wipe down half the chassis! Even with the variable-spray nozzle thing turned down,it still squirts out alot, even with a quick push.

It definitely has everything but those little areosol spray cans don't last very long . If you use it very sparingly maybe a dozen potentiometers..Now the wipes are great for RCA jacks and plugs. Dave

You could get the neat field service kit but I would also consider
D100L-25C and /or D100L-2DB.
