What is Pioneer faders start? I have some equipment that has control start input on the rear.
Can I use a switch or foot pedal, maybe I need a converter or something like that. Can anybody explain what this is and how I get around it. I need to start a cd player wiyh a foot pedal. Thanks Kamskoma

You just need to momentarily short the 2 pins together to start or stop the deck.

I've tried this but no reaction, I have looked into the control panel pcb and can only establish a fact that the control inputs may be connected to some circuit who activate the start/pause function not to the push buttons.
The user manual describe the function as Pioneer fader start. In this case I need to remote a JB SYSTEMS MCD-570 MP3. Regards Kamskoma
