Experience vs everything else
http://creative.com/products/product...&product=15913
Have a look at the graph half way down the page. It is the old story -- a collection of components in a plastic box harvested at midnight during a full moon will improve one's perception of even the part of the music that has been irretrievably lost in the studio... Don't you just love scientific breakthroughs? |

better than the studio...
i'm grateful- |
Allright an expander!
I wonder how it knows what to expand? Pure genius, however it works. |
"The downside is that the quality and fullness of your songs and soundtracks are diminished...."
Nice English.... I wonder who wrote this literature anyway. |
24 bit Crystallizer - wow. Now that's cool. All sound would be better if crystallized at 24 bits. Even studio sound, right?
Actually, the online demos do sound cool on computer speakers. Expander and EQ mostly is what it sounds like. They should sell very well. Doubt the results will be anywhere near as good as the demos, but they will still sell. Bet the car audio guys will be loving them. |

here is some more 'info'
:whazzat: What is X-Fi .... Xtreme Fidelity The attachment is one image from The Flash Demo. Link: http://www.x-fi.com/whatis/ You can see the compare between 3 qualities: 1. MP3 Audio 2. CD Audio 3. MP3 with X-Fi Crystalizer This shows clearly that MP3 with X-Fi is better than CD Audio quality. So we will no longer need the CDaudio format. We just buy or download MP3 and also buy and use Crystalizer to get the superior Audio! lineup Important Audio Informations Service Desk, IAISD [tm] |

Have you ever listened to a bass expander that are on those cheap consumer stereos? :xeye: It would be better if music was never invented in the first place... |
Read a very even handed review of it the other day... it seems like the reviewer, who is not an audiophile by a mile, was under the impression that music sounded better with the box than without it.

would speak the same impression if I built, sold and did some smart advertising including 5 'testimonials' from happy buyers 1. one nice looking styled aluminum box with smooth finish 2. some dead weight material for making box more heavy 3. 4 moderate quality but solid looking gold plated isolated RCA, for input and output 4. a few inches 1 mm2 insulated wire for connecting input and output jacks 5. on top of box, one dummy ON/OFF Push Button marked: BOOST Sound Processing 6. box tightly put together and impossible to open without destruction of box 7. 100% of the inner box space filled with cheap but very hard quality black epoxy glue .................................................. .................................................. ............ Now don't you try to copy this idea if mine! Of course I have patented this UNIQUE BLACK BOX concept! .................................................. .................................................. ............ Information: I registered and paid for this patent already February 17th 1979. All BLACK BOXES sold ever since that day are sold under the license and/or approval by my company Lineup Black Boxes Licensing Inc. .................................................. .................................................. ............
