Hello. I need to make two "Y" cables which is essentially a mono cable to connect between the tone arm cable and phono input of my pre amp so I can fully enjoy the glorious sounds from my monaural vinyl recordings.
My cartridge is low output (0.24mV) with a tube pre amp. My tone arm is a Tri-Planar VII but I'm not sure what the wire is made of. Links or pics for this DIY would be a great help. Any particular phono cable to buy? The picture below is an example of what I need. Thanks, Harry |

Hi,
are you using a mono cartridge with just one output (two pins)? or using a stereo cartridge with two outputs (four pins)? |
