Hi Guys , I just couldn't help it. I saw a BBC interview with a German chap who during the interview said ( jokingly of course ) that Germany hopes to make a United States of Germany out of Europe ! Now that WAS meant to be a joke.

However did it ever occur to most people that India is really a United States of India ?
Before the Brits came along it was a large collection of kingdoms complete with their own Kings , elephants , languages , foods, dress codes , characteristics etc .
The Brits yanked them all together and made one country which should really be called the United States of India.

Interesting huh ?
I got a lot of flak for saying this long ago ! ..........It is the truth.
