anyone make an Ipod station? I just got the idea. Make one similar to the ones out right now is size but make them sound good and look cool. Possibly take orders for custom designs to match rich peoples furniture. And buy a bose model just to set up a comparison and show people how much better yours sounds. I don't even own an ipod, i just want to exploit popular culture.

CM,
Greetings and hi there. I don't have exactly what your asking. Got a Zen 40gb player here, connected to a small 8 watt per channel tube amp kit. That feeds a pair of radio shack book shelf speakers. It's the tube amp that draws the notice. It's on a shelf above my work bench here in the Generator Electronics Repair shop. Every time a visitor comes into the shop, they see the tube amp, stop and smile. It's most likely the only set up like it in the entire country if not war. I no longer (or if I ever did) have the ear for pricy audio goods, but this package works well. Every day for about 11 hours per. It brings a smile to the face of every one who sees it. So in that respect, it's a winner. Good luck on your project. If someone is willing to help, I can e mail a photo of the set up, and they can post it here. Jack, send me the pics and I'll sort them out for you. I'll drop you a line so you know my email address.
