I imagine you have a lot of respect for what AC line current can do now. I have seen worse.

Clean it up and post some in-focus pictures now.

Those are in focus..........

I have been shocked and well aware of electricity for some time now. I freaking hate old cords, that have played a roll in shocking me more than once.

It may never get cleaned, taking the laptop apart sucks and takes a very long time. Getting all the screws where you THINK they came from is a blast, back in, sucks.

ouch i would have left it together if the fan worked, i specialized
in working with ibm laptops. with my past job. i would just use it until it dies. hopefully it still works when your finished

All pictures on my phone are blurry.

No I am not using one of those... I am however very paranoid and make sure to ground myself out multiple times even when I already did and have no way to generate more... Just a habit I got from not having a grounding strap. Computers are no big deal to me, I have done more than enough with them, they are pie, and I no longer really like them at all because I spent so much time on them. If I did still like them I would have some powerful desktop rig.
