Hi guys
I just opened a video ipod to replace the HDD inside, but the Toshiba (Hitachi also makes identical part) HDD has new ZIF sockets so do the rest of other connectors around the mother board and the LCD screen. To replace these, I have to pull these out, but I have absolutely no idea about how to unclip and unplug these ZIF connectors off in a proper way... They are very small and look fragile too, so if anyone has an experience with these ZIF connectors, please let me how to unplug these safely I can probably post a photo of the inside view of this video ipod (and of course the ZIF connectors) if necessary... Thanks guys! James |
