Kenwood VT-176 service information...

I bought a Kenwood mV meter off Ebay. A Kenwood VT-176.
Unfortunately it does not work. The pointer moves wildly across the scale.

Would anyone be able to help out with some service information?
I tried a google search but did not find anything useful.
