We started (& ended) the day using a pair of these Wytech Parallel SE 300B amps.

Just after having a brief discussion about the early problems with single ended amps and the CSS WR/FR, this amp gave a prime demonstration so we started swapping amps.

the stack o amps...

miniA in the middle (it also demonstrated the same issue as the Wytech, so maybe the problem is SE amps in general), flanked by Terry's (metalman) 50 W Pass XA take-offs. Up front are Scott's (SCD) LM4780 monoblocs. We ended up using Terry's amps all day, in this room and the other.

and there were a few speakers... they all started out in this end of Al's new room -- much better than Al's previous room -- but with no room to actually listen the speakers got distributed thru out...

Here we have Al's HT-3s playing (WR+RAW ribbon (AC derivative) + side firing extremis.
