A couple weeks ago my youngest son picked up a Kitchen Aid Mixer at the Millburn Town Dump -- the gears have to be "repacked" but a $300 mixer for nothing???? |

WooHoo! More goodies in the trash! Some old equipment was getting thrown out, and though most of it was trash, I was able to pull several high quality linear power supplies! The two on the right are +5V@2A and +/-15V@400mA, the top left is 28V@4A, and the bottom left is 5V@3A. Gotta love it!

I'm writing this on my latest dumpster dive find. The most recent version of Apple's G3 PowerBook (400 MHz/320 MB RAM). I guess it was tossed because a new battery was worth more than the resale value... i had a spare battery from my older PB & i swapped a bag of cookies for an AC power adaptor & a wireless PC Card, installed Panther and i have a very usable machine to use for road trips & for serving lossless audio.

Dave, Sounds a Pismo or Pismo Firewire if it's got two firewire ports and bronze keys, great little notebooks.
