Judging from the geographical distribution of all and sundry here, there seems to be a disproportionate number of people from that most liveable Oz city

I'm in Melbourne, although I don't post here very often. I'm in the southeast. I know quite a few DIY hobbiest's, and a couple of DIY friendly professionals in Melbourne as well. Theres quite a few of us down here.

And lots of Greeks - Melbourne used to contain the largest population of Greeks in any city outside Greece I believe.
Maybe it still does ?.

Perth and northern NSW are the places to be - Sydney and Melbourne are to be avoided.
