I remember seeing somewhere that they used ClioWin7 with a USB sound card. Has anyone done this or know anything about it ?
Can Clio Win7 be used with other sound cards ( other than the Clio measurement card). Any idea if it will work with the old HR2000 card ? I could not find any information on this at the web site. Thanks. Ashok.

I somehow get the impression that CLIO uses their own hardware. But there is a USB link which probably is used for control

If you download a user manual you can find info there.
Basicly it works with USB soundcard but it looses the ability to make absolute level measurements. Meaning you will not have for example tweeter measurement around 90dB but around 0dB or so. It can still be useful. I make similar non absolute measurements with JustMLS and design the crossover just as well. Most of the time the absoute level is not needed. Ergo |
