Default replace and old connector with a usb.

I want to splice a keyboard using the top connector in that photo to a usb connector. How do i do it?

You can't. Its a different protocol and signals. Just buy a new keyboard, a new one is cheaper than the adapter. CompUSA wanted $15 for an AT to PS/2 keyboard adapter while a new keyboard was $9.99.

some very old keyboards are too slow for current bios/interface settings. sorry I cant be more specific

it is possible some keyboards may be designed like some
mice with both usb and ps2 interfaces but I have not seen any
It would have to recognize which connection and act acordingly
