Hi everyone,
How do you internally wire a Marantz ki sig cd player with an after market high grade iec kettle lead or alternatively ad an Iec inlet to the back of the unit for connection. If I had to solder it internally it has 2 wires brown [live] blue [neutral] what do you do with the earth wire from the mains cable?
Please note that I am a complete novice when it comes to soldering etc.
Anyone?

Baba24,
AC mains wiring should be done by someone who knows the electrical code in your area. It's a nice CD player and I'd hate to see it suffer.
Consider the the AC mains cord is the least likely thing to bring a sound difference. In my opinion anyway. I 've been servicing for over 25 yrs. If it would help, I'd tell you that.
